Home business plans groomed for consultation across City of Wanneroo

Applications for home grooming businesses for pets and people are out for consultation.

The City of Wanneroo has invited feedback on several home business applications, with Tapping and Carramar proposals relating to dog grooming.

The application for 25 Merrivale Circle relates to the Fancy Bitches Dog Grooming daycare business which councillors recently refused to approve due to its suburban location.

Owner Kane Brimfield then lodged a revised application to continue his grooming services without the daycare, which is out for consultation until July 9.

The business would operate from 8.30am-5pm on Tuesday to Saturday, with a maximum of two dogs per customer, one customer at a time and six customers a day.

The City has also invited submissions until July 20 on a separate proposal for a dog grooming business based in the garage of 4 Tableland Way in Carramar.

It would operate from 9am-4pm on Tuesday to Saturday and have a maximum of five customers a day with no more than one customer and one customer dog on site at a time.

Another application for a massage and lash extension home business at 18 Carlin Way, Butler is out for consultation until July 19.

The business, Bali Vibes, started last September and has applied to operate from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-3pm on Saturday, with one client at a time and up to three clients a day.
